Peptides
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1
Short amino acid chains that signal the skin to produce more collagen. Gentle, but slow.
Peptides are fragments of the proteins that make up skin. Applied topically, certain sequences appear to signal that repair is needed, nudging collagen production upward. The evidence is real but more modest than for retinoids, and results take months. Their appeal is tolerability: they suit people who cannot use retinoids at all, including during pregnancy.

Routine is educational and is not medical advice. Recommendations are generated from the answers you gave and general dermatological guidance — they cannot account for your full history. For persistent or severe skin conditions, or before starting anything new during pregnancy, speak to a doctor or dermatologist.
